Chuyên mục cảm nhận cá nhân về những chai nước hoa Shi từng thử.

Nước hoa là một thứ kì diệu đối với Shi. Vì bất kể khi nó có mùi như thế nào khi đứng một mình, nó vẫn sẽ trở thành một thứ mùi độc nhất vô nhị khi xịt lên người mình. Và người ta dùng nó như một cách tự giới thiệu bản thân với thế giới xung quanh, nhưng không như đôi mắt hay nụ cười, nước hoa và quần áo là thứ chúng ta có thể chọn. (Mà thật ra thì cấu trúc cơ thể cũng có thể chọn mà, đúng không?)

Về mặt khoa học, mùi hương có liên kết chặt chẽ với kí ức con người. Hồi năm nhất, thầy dạy môn tâm lý học cơ bản của Shi từng kể thầy có một người bạn chỉ dùng bốn loại nước hoa duy nhất tương ứng cho bốn mùa, và khi cần phải nhớ về một việc nào, người bạn ấy lại xịt mùi nước hoa tương ứng để kích thích trí nhớ. Tương tự, một giáo sư khác của Shi cũng có một người bạn luôn luôn tặng đúng một loại nước hoa cho tất cả những người bạn gái của mình. Anh ta lý luận rằng trong tâm trí của anh, mùi nước hoa đó gắn liền với cảm giác yêu thương. Chỉ cần bạn gái dùng mùi nước hoa đó thì cho dù có cãi nhau to đến mấy, anh ta vẫn có thể kiềm mình lại. Nhưng Shi vẫn chưa có dịp hỏi lại giáo sư rằng nếu anh ta có thể giải quyết vấn đề bằng mùi hương, thì tại sao anh ta cứ có bạn gái mới mãi thế, trong khi thật ra anh ta cũng có thể xịt lên giường mình mà?

Quay lại với Shi. Thật ra, Shi nảy sinh ý định lên bài viết này là vì một chiếc vid Thâm Thâm lại gần chụp ảnh chung với các fan. Có người bình luận rằng Thâm Thâm đến gần như vậy thì hẳn là có thể ngửi được mùi nước hoa của cậu ấy. Có vẻ như các fan đều cho rằng cậu ấy đang sử dụng chai “Blvgari Blue Tea”. Khi tìm vòng vòng thì ra chai Bvlgari Au de Bleu, mùi có vẻ đúng vì có comment bảo cậu ấy có mùi hoa diên vĩ (Iris). Nhưng mà nó hết bán rồi làm sao mua đây huhuhu (Về Tích ca thì Shi vẫn chưa tìm được ổng xài mùi gì).

Cảm nhận trong bài này là cảm nhận về mùi nước hoa khi dùng trên người Shi. Mà mọi người biết đấy, mỗi mùi nước hoa sẽ có phản ứng khác nhau trên làn da từng người khác nhau, và mùi hương cuối cùng cũng còn phụ thuộc vào nhiều yếu tố khác, chẳng hạn như thời tiết, mùa, hay nhiệt độ nữa. Trên tất cả, cảm nhận của Shi còn bị ảnh hưởng bởi chính sở thích sở ghét của Shi, ví dụ như Shi ghét mùi vani, caramel, các mùi quá ngọt, và cực thích mùi xà bông, đặc biệt là xà bông Spring. Ngoài ra, Shi không ghét mùi thuốc lá, rất thích ngửi mùi bút xoá, sơn lẫn xăng, và sự kết hợp giữa mùi cà phê và mùi thuốc lá chính là mùi của ngày chủ nhật đối với Shi (những ngày còn lại với Shi không có mùi gì cả, nhưng riêng ngày chủ nhật thì có).

Dong dài như vậy là để nhấn mạnh việc mùi hương là một thứ rất cá nhân, rất riêng tư, cho nên ý kiến của Shi cũng chỉ để tham khảo mà thôi.

Sau tất cả những disclaimer dài dòng ở trên thì câu hỏi cuối cùng ở đây là: Khi dùng mùi hương, chúng ta muốn vẽ bức tự hoạ như thế nào trong mắt người khác?

Nói thêm về em này: mùi barbershop – mùi xà bông nam =)) Rất sạch sẽ, nam tính, mát lạnh. Nơi Shi ở nóng bức quanh năm, nên Shi rất rất thèm những mùi như thế này. Khi nào có lúa sẽ hốt thêm vài chai.

Cảm nhận của Shi: Mở đầu bằng một sự thanh mát như làn gió lạnh thật sạch sẽ lúc 6-7 giờ sáng, khi mặt trời đã tỏ nhưng thiên hạ vẫn chưa kịp ầm ĩ. Phai nhanh trong 5-7 phút và biến thành mùi hơi nước quyện với xà bông ngay khi mới bước ra từ nhà tắm. Chừng đâu 10 phút nữa là biến thành mùi dầu gội đầu. Mà nó lại hợp lý vì middle notes có mùi da thịt và mùi sữa. Mùi dầu gội này lưu luyến chừng đâu 30 phút – 1.5 tiếng thì thành mùi skin scent nhạt nhẽo. Shi vốn rất hào hứng vì thứ mùi sạch, lạnh lúc mở đầu, ai ngờ lại biến thành vô vị chỉ trong vài tiếng. Có những người, bản thân họ vốn đang rất toả sáng, và hẳn là sẽ càng toả sáng thật rực rỡ, thật lâu, chỉ cần không gặp phải mình. The Story behind The Lover’s Tale

This is a story of by-gone times about a lovers’ secret encounter. It represents the contradictions between sense and sensibility, prudery and passion. The lovers are driven by desire but their education holds them back.

Rich in natural raw materials, jasmin and leather are the protagonists of this perfume. I used a beautiful Egyptian jasmin to create a slightly narcotic accord, which best combines with leather. In this base, I used some castoreum rendered in a sophisticated way, yet keeping its animalic facets.

The opening renders the shy but sparkling mood of the very moment they meet, with bergamot, honey and a touch of aldehydes. A vague smell of pollen evokes the nights of early spring, when peach trees are in blossom and release their scent in the fresh air. Then, attraction and romance trap the lovers, and a narcotic jasmin softened by a powdery rose represents this tension. Ultimately passion takes over, with a sophisticated leather, developing over an intense ambery accord on the background.

Cảm nhận của Shi: Mùi hoa (florals) rất nồng, gắt mũi. Đậm đặc dù chỉ với một tia nhỏ xíu. Shi mua về đã vài năm, nhưng không thể nào chịu nổi mùi nồng như vậy. Thế nhưng, hôm nay, khi trời vào đông, đột nhiên Shi lại thèm được ngửi một mùi da thuộc (leather) nào thật ấm, thật đặc, thế là lôi em này ra. Hạnh phúc ngập tràn. Mùi hoa tựa như những cánh hồng khô phủ lên một chiếc áo choàng da màu đen với lớp lông sói dày ấm, và trong gió như phảng phất một tia ngọt dịu của hoa nhài đâu đó… Cảm giác rất ấm cúng, rất thích hợp để ôm nhau trên sô pha trong mùa đông lạnh giá. Cảm nhận của Shi: Mùi DA THUỘC. Và thuốc lá. Xăng. Một chút rượu mạnh làm em say. Một mùi hương đàn ông đến mức không thể đàn ông hơn. Lập tức làm Shi liên tưởng đến hình ảnh của Johnny Depp quảng cáo cho Dior Savage [đối thủ cạnh tranh trực tiếp của chai này =))] và Brendan Fraser trong The Mummy.

Nhấn mạnh: Chỉ dùng cho mùa lạnh, và tốt nhất và vào ban đêm. Bản thân Shi thích xịt vào journal, mỗi lần mở ra là như mở một cuốn sách cổ bọc da.

Đáng tiếc chai này đã bị discontinue. Shi đã có 2 chai back up nhưng chắc sẽ hốt thêm 1 chai 150ml. (29/10/2023)

Nguyên liệu chính: một note da thuộc từ thực vật, Birch Tar Finland.

Hướng đi sáng tạo: Cực đại hoá sức mạnh của note ngay từ giây phút đầu bằng chất Saffron. Mở rộng và làm phong phú thêm kết cấu của Birch Tar để làm sống động cả hai mặt của tấm da: highlight mặt nguyên hạt mịn màng với Ciste Labdanum Andalusia, và khuếch đại mặt da lộn mềm mại với Benzoin Absolute Laos.

Cảm nhận của Shi: Hôm nay trời bỗng lạnh mà lại còn mưa, nên Shi lấy chai này ra thử cho biết mùi “da ưng” là mùi thế nào. Mở đầu bằng mùi da thuộc, rồi dần quyện thêm một chút mùi rượu (gin/ whisky/ bourbon). Một hồi sau lại thành mùi da + mùi khói quyện với mùi hoa (gần như mùi nhang thơm). Cuối cùng mùi da dần biến mất hẳn, chỉ còn lại mùi rượu. Tất cả quá trình chuyển mùi này diễn ra trong vòng không quá 30 phút. Shi vốn chỉ thích mùi da thuộc chính gốc, và chẳng thích mùi rượu lẫn mùi nhang chút nào, nhưng không hiểu sao thử mùi này lại cứ hay đưa tay lên ngửi như bị nghiện. Nhưng vì Shi đã có chai nước hoa mùi da thuộc của đời mình rồi nên chai này Shi pass. Chai này mùi giữ được khoảng 4-5 tiếng trên tay Shi. Đến cuối vẫn giữ một mùi “hoa khói”. (20/11/2022)

Shi thấy chai này rất hot ở Việt Nam, nhưng người ta bảo nó mang mùi “xác thịt” (???). Với Shi chai này ngọt ngào ngây thơ trẻ trung lắm. (16/11/2023)

Bon Monsieur is a fragrance of pure nostalgia. Having grown up in the 1980s I wanted to create a fragrance that encapsulates my formative years and that pays homage to some of the great fougeres of the time.

A hefty dose of a fine lavender absolute and oakmoss form the base of Bon Monsieur. This is indeed a classic gentlemen’s fragrance.
